Your seventh graders are reading at a fourth-grade level...

You still have to teach seventh grade.

ELA Content Hub gives you structured, scaffolded units that meet students where they are without lowering where you're taking them.

See What's Inside

If you teach in a school like this, you already know...

✏️ You have multiple preps and a class where the reading levels span five grades.

✏️ The curriculum you were handed assumes students arrived with skills they don't have, so you spend your planning period building the bridge instead of teaching the lesson.

✏️ You've found plenty of activities online. What you can't find is a sequence. So you're stitching together someone's context clues worksheet, someone else's grammar slides, and a novel study that starts three skills ahead of where your class actually is.

None of that is a work ethic problem. It's a materials problem.

✏️ You are being asked to build curriculum and teach it at the same time. That was never a reasonable ask.

The problem isn't that you need more resources.

You can find a thousand free worksheets before lunch. That's not the gap.

The gap is that scattered resources don't build anything. A skill practiced once in October and never again doesn't stick, especially for students who came in with gaps.

Retention doesn't come from volume. It comes from sequence, repetition, and the right scaffolds at the right moment.

That's the difference between a pile of resources and something structured.

ELA CONTENT HUB

Practical ELA resources for grades 6–8, created for classrooms with real skill gaps, limited planning time, and students who need more than another worksheet.

The ELA Content Hub is not a random collection of activities you have to sort through and somehow turn into instruction.

Inside, you’ll find complete units, focused skill lessons, assessments, practice activities, games, doodle notes, and classroom-ready resources designed to help you teach the skills your students are actually missing.

Some resources can carry an entire unit. Others help you strengthen the curriculum you already use, reteach a difficult skill, fill an instructional gap, or make a lesson more engaging without starting over.

What that means on a Tuesday:

  • You can find a ready-to-teach lesson without spending your entire planning period piecing one together
  • You can pull targeted support when your students are missing a foundational skill
  • You can add scaffolds, practice, or engagement to the curriculum you already have
  • You can assess what students know and choose resources based on what they actually need
  • You have options for grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, and the everyday realities of an ELA classroom

The purpose of the Hub is simple: to help you spend less time searching, creating, and assembling—and more time actually teaching.

Coloring isn't the point... remembering is.

Doodle notes are a retention strategy, not a decoration.

When a student writes a definition and draws the concept at the same time, the brain encodes it twice, once through language and once through image. Two pathways to the same information mean two chances to retrieve it on Thursday.

For a student who has struggled to hold onto material all year, that second pathway matters enormously.

They also do something a standard worksheet can't. A completed doodle note becomes a reference tool. Students keep them, flip back to them, and use them during writing without asking you to reteach. That's one less interruption in a class period where you don't have a spare minute.

Students do like them. That isn't why we make them.

Let's make sure this is a fit....

This is built for you if:

  • You teach middle school ELA, and your students are coming to you with gaps. Maybe big ones.

  •  You have multiple preps, a million things on your plate, and absolutely no desire to build an entire curriculum from scratch.

  •  You want lessons that are rigorous and supportive...without watering everything down or lowering the bar.

  •  You are tired of buying resources that seem to have been created for a magical classroom where every student is on grade level, remembers everything they learned last year, and happily completes every assignment.

What Teachers Are Saying:

Colorful and engaging activity to supplement the foundations of understanding context clues. This resource is differentiated, making it easy to assign based on their individualized needs.

Wonderful and engaging resource for kids to use. Commas are such a difficult skill for kids to master. This was a huge help!
